Ok, here’s the inside scoop from someone who’s been here approximately a million times: Bring water bottles cause you’ll definitely want them, especially if the kids are hitting the zip line non-stop (trust me on this one!). Pack some snacks and maybe a picnic – the covered areas are perfect for this, but they’re first-come-first-served, so arrive early if you want to snag one.

The playground can get pretty warm in direct sunlight, so slather on that sunscreen and maybe bring hats. If you’re planning to use the basketball courts, bring your own ball since there’s no equipment rental available. And here’s a pro tip – the best photo ops are during golden hour when the sun’s setting behind the trees.

Keep in mind that the park doesn’t have any vending machines, so come prepared with whatever you might need. The restrooms are usually well-maintained, but having some hand sanitizer isn’t a bad idea.
